Welcome! I'm Loukas Neocleous, Your Partner in Personal Growth and Well-being.
I'm a qualified BACP-registered counsellor, dedicated to providing accessible, convenient, and effective mental health support to individuals from all walks of life.
My counselling practice is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a supportive and understanding environment to foster personal growth. Rooted in person-centred therapy, my approach places you at the heart of the journey. I believe you hold the keys to your growth and healing; my role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, understanding, and the tools to help you unlock your potential.
In my practice, I incorporate various creative techniques to meet the unique needs of the clients. Creative methods often provide a fresh perspective and allow for deeper self-expression, especially for those who find it challenging to communicate through traditional talk therapy. I used buttons for visualisation; grounding techniques to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, anxiety or distress; and the past here and now to understand how past experiences influence current emotions and behaviors while keeping the focus on the present. I also have experience working and supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those on the autism spectrum. I emphasises creating a safe, inclusive space where they feel valued and understood.
I help clients build their strengths, navigate challenges, and achieve goals. With a deep commitment to fostering growth and empowerment, I collaborate closely with them to ensure meaningful transformative outcomes. I specialise in assisting clients with emotional resilience, relationship building, and self-discovery, guiding each person toward improved well-being. That's why I offer online therapy sessions, an innovative approach that allows you to connect with me through video chat or phone calls from the comfort of your own home.

In-Person Therapy
I also recognise that some individuals prefer the personal touch and connection that only face-to-face sessions can offer. Understanding the need for flexibility, I am thrilled to announce that I now provide in-person therapy sessions for those who prefer it. While online therapy can be incredibly effective, I believe that offering both options allows for a more personalised and tailored approach to therapy.

Our Agreement
Upon confirmation, I will send you the necessary client setup documents and request for you sign a counseling agreement. While this may sound formal, the purpose of the agreement is to establish clear boundaries and create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Our mutual signing of the agreement signifies our commitment to your therapy journey together.
Free 15-minute call
This provides an opportunity for us to connect and determine if my approach aligns with your needs presently. Throughout the call, we will discuss your therapy expectations and the specific circumstances surrounding them. Any inquiries you may have can be addressed as well.

Our Sessions
After our agreement, setting a regular weekly session time is an important aspect of therapy because it provides consistency and stability. This designated time will be exclusively reserved for your therapy sessions, ensuring that you have a dedicated space to focus on your therapeutic journey.

Loukas had a profoundly positive influence on my life through his unwavering assistance and support. I had tried counselling several times over the years before and did not feel that it had helped. I now realise that finding the right counsellor makes all the difference. I met Loukas over a year ago when I was at my most vulnerable - dealing with breast cancer and divorce. My sessions with him have helped me to gain a better understanding of myself, certain habits/patterns, how I react to situations and that my opinions do matter. Loukas has helped me to understand myself better and to reframe the way I think and act in certain circumstances giving me the confidence to voice my opinions when I need to and feeling confident that it was the right thing to do at the time. Loukas is so easy to open up to and at times he challenges me to think differently which I fully appreciate.
